These Rules and Regulations cannot and are not meant to be exhaustive. They have been framed to act as guidelines. Clarifications should be sought from the Principal/Secretary/Chief Executive Officer/Administrative Officer as and when necessary.
The last date for computing attendance is 15 February of the year of the Examination.
Parents and guardians are also given all necessary information well in advance of the beginning of the Academic Year.
(b) Pupils of Class XI and Class XII can borrow two books each for 14 days.
(c) During vacations and long breaks, pupils of Classes III to XII can borrow two books each for the duration of the recess.
Hours of Work:
Weekdays: 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
Saturdays: 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
At the beginning of every Academic Year, the School will supply each pupil with a copy of the School Work Diary. Information and rules regarding attendance, absence, and other matters will be furnished in the Diary.
A Newsletter is published periodically to keep pupils and guardians abreast of past and forthcoming events and important matters concerning the School.
Guardians may meet the Subject Teachers / Class Teachers / Director / Pro-Rector / Founder-Rector on any working day by previous appointment through the School Office.
Guardians may meet the Principal/Vice-Principal on the following days between the hours mentioned by prior appointment:
Principal: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays ñ 8.30 a.m.-10.00 a.m.
Vice-Principal: Tuesdays & Thursdays ñ 8.30 a.m.-10.00 a.m.
According to the RTE Act, 2009, no pupil can be detained in any class till he completes elementary education, i.e. Class VIII. All pupils of Class VIII will be entitled to receive a certificate to the effect that they have completed elementary education at the end of the Academic year. However, the eligibility to continue in Class IX of this School will depend on the academic performance throughout Class VIII.
Guardians, who want their wards to repeat a year in any class (Nursery I – Class VII), should inform the Principal of their decision in writing at the end of the Academic Session.
All decisions regarding promotion and other related matters are taken in accordance with the relevant rules and guidelines laid down by the CISCE. Such decisions are taken by the Academic Council in consultation with the Class Teachers, Subject Teachers, Director, Coordinators, and Examiners concerned, and are final.
Progress Reports will be issued twice a year.
